This absolutely must be the quickest and cheapest way to get a viable income started and be in a lucrative hobby business.
To be able to command twice the average price and have a waiting list for the most endearing and popular puppy there are several key ingredients one must have and they are:
- You must have high quality breeding stock free of inbreeding and a proven track record or you have nothing
- There must be no inbreeding
- You cant get good perfect pups from poor parents
- They must be healthy
- Parents must be pure bred Cavaliers and Toy Poodles so that the pups are 1st generation Cavoodles.
- They must have had time between litters to fully mineralise and restore the mum's calcium levels or she doesn't have the calcium to build strong bones and immune in her baby
- They must only have one litter a year
The first objection is only one litter a year:
This seems to be a reasonable objection but if you have good provable stock and they only breed once a year and you can demand $2,000 plus a puppy even only one litter at $2,000 means you are making about profit as having 5 litters and only 1/5 the work. This is because the food and vet costs are for only 1 litter instead of 5. I'll discuss these factors with interested parties.
I am genuinely retiring whilst we still have our health to spend time dong some of the things on our to do list and with our grand kids.
OUR BREEDING DOGS AVAILABLE NOW
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels 2 Girls Ruby colour “Our pets”, house trained and gorgeous temperament lots of love and make great companions for mature owner. They have been mates all their lives and I wouldn’t separate as they would fret. I would have to find a good home for these lovely girls who still have a lot of living to do and love to give and great company to share. Having 2 they keep each other company when we go out and are actually less trouble than one on its own. They are not destructive or naughty but have lived inside and love to curl up in the wife’s back and put her off to sleep for their afternoon nap Will accept A Reasonable Offer for the two for the right person.
Meet our two Gorgeous Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
Without a doubt they are the very best house dog with the best temperament and loving nature without a mean bone in their bodies
Firstly meet Honey and the name is appropriate because she just wants to give love and more love, she is the one laying on Jules' arm as she reads the paper whilst sleeping in on Saturday morning.
Here she is licking her neck as this is their way of affection, kissing us and Cavalier's just were bred to be perfect companion dogs by King Charles.
Originally they were strictly for the Aristocracy of Britain and their wide spread popularity and absolutely divine temperament has made them one of the most popular breeds and certainly for house dogs. They do shed but we have a special comb that takes out all the fur before it drops and 5 - 10 minutes once or twice a week outside and there is no fur dropping inside. This is a valuable bonding time and they love being pampered and one on one time together so time spent doing this is some of the most rewarding time of all.
Here Honey has been kissing Jules and as you can see she has enjoyed it too. It happens when we just come near and is one of their ways they show affection to us. When we lay them back in our arms they snuggle in and Jules often sings to them and they usually close their eyes and go to sleep in our arms.
Honey is more the extrovert and first to come up to a new person she hasn't known before to say hello and she is my favourite, if I have one because that's my type personality too
Now meet Gabby She is the exact opposite, a quiet shy dog who is more of a follower and will wait and see before she quietly comes up to a stranger and licks their hand or leg to say hello. I've accepted you now, please give me a bit of attention just like you are Honey. If Jules has a favourite it would be Gabby and she is the first to jump on the bed when we just say I think I'll have a sleep, she is up there like a rocket and they both just love cuddling up into our back in the winter and keeping it lovely and warm and going off to sleep. They are the very best stress releasers and have that happy knack of putting us off to sleep as well.
Here is another shot of Gabby showing her beautiful white markings and her white tiny socks. Gabby has the shortest fur and is the cleanest dog painstakingly grooming herself to keep a lovely shiny coat that is aided by the home made food they eat that will keep them healthy and needing the least vet costs than dogs fed the commercial factory manufactured foods. All our dogs have been fed this diet put together by an old time vet in the back blocks of Victoria where she did a load of research talking to the old time Drovers asking how they kept their animals in first class working condition when they would be droving sheep or cattle for a thousand miles or more (1,600ks) taking the herd to their new destination as they didn't have the big trucks etc in those days. They couldn't leave the herd to go into town to the vets when something went wrong so they would have to be able to fix them up with just the herbs growing beside the road and what they had in their horse drawn covered wagons that was their home away from home.
Toy Poodles: These very high quality Poodles have 15 champions, grand Champ, double champ and international champs in their bloodline and are very healthy, only need vaccinations & annual checks at the vets, fed home made high mineral and vitamin diet. The Poodles breeding pair’s parents are imported stock originally cost over $10,000 each by two different breeders who then mated them with an Australian Champion to create a huge genetic diversity ad strong immune from that genetic diversity.
Meet Bobby and Sweety Pie. These are the two originals that we started breeding from Bobby on the left was from parents imported from the USA and Sweety from Holland
You can be forgiven if you were to say "but they don't look like Poodles" and your'd be right because I am not interested in showing our dogs but providing people with the very best healthy strong companion dogs and most seemed to like the rag doll look so I clip them accordingly to reduce the maintenance and if they are brushed twice a week they retain a lovely light fluffy coat that does not drop fur. That's because they have a wool coat and like our hair it doesn't moult like most dogs so they are a low maintenance dog inside the house. It is very rare to be able to buy this quality of animal and the only reason I could buy them was because their owner had much of her intestines cut out with cancer and could no longer look after them and everyone wanted the girl or the boy and I was prepared to keep them together. They knew that separated they would fret for each other as they had been together since pups. Put together they have 15 grand titles as below including international titles in their bloodline that makes them so valuable and if we were not going through such a change to our circumstances these are certainly dogs we would not be parting with they were the basis of our breeding stock and have brought a wonderful temperament and health to those puppies they had.
Bobby’s (he's on the left) line is imported from USA and Sweety is from Europe (Holland) and I have both available plus 2 sire dogs Rusty and Casey ready to go straight to work.
Now meet Rusty. He was bred and kept to bring that lovely soft red colouring and a stronger more vigorous quality into my breeding so as to better cater for the younger families who want a dog that will handle the rough and tumble of a young family and go for a 5-10k walk/run in the morning and be pushing for more. He's still a Toy but on the larger side of the Toy specifications and will finish up somewhere around the 250-300 mm in height and 7-8 kgs more if over fed.
Even though he is the most robust animal he still has that lovely friendly affectionate disposition from both Bobby and Sweety but has a throw back regressive gene to bring out that nice red coat that is so popular and would be comfortable as an inside or outside dog. In fact he seems to have double portion of the lay back attitude and can be so patient with his siblings it is great to watch.
Finally now meet Casey and as you can see he is most comfortable cuddling into Jules.
He was a deliberate choice to bring into the breeding line as he is a smaller pup, both Casey and Rusty are from the same litter only Casey is Cream and much smaller, ideal for Baby Boomers now downsizing to a smaller Unit or Town House, so wanting a smaller more compact dog they can easily take in the car, on holidays, trips on the leather seatings without damaging it and when mated with a smaller female would produce the perfect animal for this purpose

Casey like all the others is a most healthy dog and has been fed our high mineral food to keep him in great health minimising vet costs. All the boys are great workers. Casey would be the best little watch dog letting you know whenever a stranger comes onto your property, yet when I just come back from the paddocks he is there to give me the biggest welcome as if he hadn't seen me for months.
As we only breed once a year from females they are not over worked and are fed a high mineral diet so they are fully restored and well rested by the time next year rolls round they are in the optimum state to give the puppies the very best and that's why our girls are in fine condition and have strong healthy puppies and we get a decent premium to cover our troubles making it more profitable. We have preferred this strain of Toy Poodles for our mums as they have a great milk supply and are extremely maternal making just the best mothers with great natural mothering skills, all emanating from the Boby / Sweetie Pie combination which has that magic x factor to turn out perfect progeny.

These dogs would enhance most any breeders genetics and add value to puppy sales. They have a gorgeous loving disposition and just love human company and affection, as much as we can give and make a wonderful pet. We are retiring and keen to find good homes for these dogs so we can move on. There was never an intention to part with them but we have experienced a major hick up in our life plans making it important to find good homes for our beautiful pets so will not refuse a reasonable offer.
